“Say hello to the future of House music.” - Mixmag

“After years earning his dance music stripes, Jesse Rose has finally hit the big time.” - IDJ

Regarded as house music’s most forward thinking producer of the last years alongside the likes of Switch & Claude VonStroke, Jesse is responsible for twisting up the template of house music as we know it today. Learning his trade as a DJ with regular slots at the legendary London club Fabric and visits over the pond in Europe, Jesse now holds residency at his monthly Made to Play night at the Panorambar in Berlin and tours the world for fifty-two weeks of the year. To date Jesse has recorded for the likes of Classic, Get Physical, JBO, Simple, his own Made to Play and Front Room imprints and is currently signed to Dave Taylor’s Dubsided label. If you need a dance-floor remix Jesse is the guy you turn to, lending his skills to artists such as Hotchip, Armand Van Helden, Underworld, Simian Mobile Disco, Layo & Bushwacka!, Claude VonStroke and literally tons more. He’s been featured in every international dance music publication, nominated alongside four others for ‘Best British DJ’ for DJ Mag, number four in IDJ players of the year and number fourteen in Mixmag’s best DJ’s in the world 2007.

If it looks like things couldn’t get any better for Jesse, 2009 sees him release his first solo album. STROBE present the official Melbourne launch party the evening before its release.

ZOMBIE DISCO SQUAD
www.myspace.com/zombiediscosquad

"One of the most exciting prospects of 2009" – Jesse Rose

"The Zombies use that rare combination of hip-hop and house that I am always searching for. A hot duo that I will be watching for sure" - Claude VonStroke

Lucas Hunter & Nat Self are Zombie Disco Squad, the multi-talented production duo taking house music in a new direction. Taking influences from Balie Funk, African rhythms, Baltimore, Hip-Hop, the so-called fidget sound and making it sound fresh. You won’t find any cheesy gimmicks in their records but what you will find are tracks played by some of the most influential DJ’s and clubs around the globe. They’ve travelled around the world touring the states and Europe playing clubs such as Fabric in London, Panorama Bar in Berlin and Hive in Zurich before even having one official single release. Their remixes have had plays by Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Zane Lowe to name a few. The boys have already picked up support from across the board with Jesse Rose signing them exclusively to his Made to Play label but not before one Mr Claude VonStroke stepped in for a single on DirtyBird. 2009 is looking like their breakthrough year with a residency at Panorama Bar in Berlin, tours with Made to Play, releases on Daniel Haaksman’s Man Recordings, DirtyBird, Made to Play and a production sound that is second to none.

Hands down one of the best live DJ shows in Europe at the moment. Their sound is amazing and if you don’t know them already, they are going to be huge.
